THE LOPEZ

LIFESTYLE

A Note From Erin...

Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined living the life I am living and owning a story that I can share with others.

I grew up in suburban America, Kansas City to be exact, and lived a happy, healthy childhood.

I got married at 30 and set out to do the only thing I was ever certain of – becoming a mother. After having two kids, I was ready to be ALL IN and put my everything into being a mom. Fast forward a few years, and I felt alone. Not alone because of my husband, friends, or family, but because I needed more. And there was a big part of me that felt guilty for even wanting more. Wasn’t I supposed to feel complete raising these girls and being a wife? I was fighting with this yet knowing that I wanted more.

As my kids got a little older, I dabbled in a few ”work from home” opportunities for my father (a true entrepreneur). But I never felt a connection to them, so they soon fizzled out or they weren’t worth the time, energy, and money.

You know my story by now of growing up, working, and my passion for fashion, and as I continued my business as a wardrobe stylist, I discovered the world of network marketing.  Every time I stood in front of a client, negativity came from them wishing they could be ‘healthier, skinnier, have smaller shoulders, a thinner waist’ – the list is endless. It dawned on me I needed to do more. Having been approached by several companies I always said ‘no thank you, that industry and "pyramid business" is not for me’. I thought 'never, ever'. But I’m the type of person who trusts her gut – I try things before I pass judgment – so I lept, and joined my first network marketing company in 2014. And then my mindset changed to 'never say never'.

Within a year, I was earning more than my wardrobe styling business and saw the potential to earn a residual income without standing in front of a client. My girls were getting older, and it was becoming harder and harder to miss their practices, tucking them in bed, and lugging around inventory that was a hassle. But I also knew that this wasn’t something for ‘everyone’ – you had to have a certain ability to get in front of others and the passion to lead a team.

And now, my passion has evolved even further into helping others reach this point as well. And I want nothing more than to dive into this adventure with you.
